Royal Forest of Rusted Woodlands

Greetings and welcome to the Royal Forest of Rusted Woodlands. The Forest is located in the East Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an organization dedicated to the study and recreation of all aspects of medieval life during the period of time from approximately 600 AD to 1600 AD. The Forest encompasses Rockland County in New York and Bergen, Passaic and Sussex Counties in New Jersey.

Word from Master Phillip Reed the Facetious, Seneschal of the East Kingdom:

Please be advised, I have received word from the Board of Directors - the New York Counties of Sullivan and Orange are now Crown Lands and not a part of the Shire of Rusted Woodlands.

The shire mourns the loss of Lord Zachary Wolfhunter to a battle with pneumonia. He was an esteemed member of the Society and our shire's pursuivant. Our thoughts are with his wife, Lady Erlandr Nordenskald, in this difficult time.
