Current 2024 Dates! Monday 1/8/24 ~ 8-9pm Monday 1/22/24 ~ 8-9 pm Monday 2/5/24 ~ 8-9pm Monday 2/19/24 ~ 8-9pm $10 Donation Location: Bethany Community Center 605 Pascack Rd, Township Of Washington, NJ 07676 Some other important information is: Practices at this new location are initially going to be 1 hour, so all fencers are asked to arrive on time and prepared to fence. We are located at the top of the stairs on the second floor. It is an active community center, so please keep fencing gear bagged until in the space. There is no vaping, smoking, chewing gum, or alcohol allowed on the premises. Masks are not required.

The End of an Era

Greetings to the Shire, By the end of June, the meeting place that we have had for at least as long as I have been living in the shire (a combined total of 12 years) will be closing for good. The officers of the shire are now exploring leads to find a new place to The End of an Era

Greetings, Woodlanders! I bring you updates on both Arts & Sciences and Fencing tonight. Arts & Sciences: Her Majesty’s Favors Maestra Ana de Guzman brought some blue linen, pattern tracing paper, scissors, a cutting board, and the image for the Queen’s Favor for Her Majesty Caoilfhionn. Monday Fencing News

In addition to a bevy of established fencers, two new fencers came to practice tonight! Sir Tanaka Raiko and Alger provided instruction in recommended safety equipment, basic movement, holding a sword, and blocking.

Coming soon: A Missive from Maestra Ana de Guzmán Greetings, folk of the Shire, I strained my left Achilles tendon last week, so I shall be cancelling the upcoming Hawthorne A&S gathering on Monday 01/09 because those stairs would not do me any favors at this time. Monday Meetings!

Tonight was bustling at the Hawthorne meeting site! Several sets of fencers kept everyone hopping in the lower room. Meanwhile, in the upper room, the title of Minister of Arts & Sciences now belongs to Maestra Ana de Guzman, as Kendrik D’Mer steps down after four years of excellent service!
