Greetings, Woodlanders! I bring you updates on both Arts & Sciences and Fencing tonight.

Arts & Sciences: Her Majesty’s Favors

Maestra Ana de Guzman brought some blue linen, pattern tracing paper, scissors, a cutting board, and the image for the Queen’s Favor for Her Majesty Caoilfhionn. Cutting happened, and there are kits available. Contact Maestra Ana to get your kit if you could not make it to the meeting. (I would show you all pictures of the kit I took home, but alas, it’s downstairs and I am not.)

Our next A&S meeting, on May 8th, will be an opportunity to pass along any favors you have completed, touch up incomplete favors, and be admired for your excellent work.

Fencing & Food

May has 5 Mondays! You know what that means: a Rusted Woodlands Fencing Tournament and Potluck Dinner! Sadly, the fifth Monday is Memorial Day (in May of 2023 as in all other Mays with five Mondays) and we would not want to tempt you away from family festivities. Therefore, Rusted Woodlands presents: The Sixth Monday Rusted Woodlands Fencing Tournament and Potluck Dinner, to be held on the 6th Monday of May (also known as the first Monday of June). Bring your finest fencing form, your favorite foods, and your friendliest face!
